Once a Shack, Now a Revived 1935 Cottage - Sold

Completed 2016. What a thoroughly charming cottage reimagined and transformed after years of neglect! Check out BEFORE PICTURES at the bottom. Making Modern Home found, purchased, lovingly remodeled, and pre-sold this small East Austin Cottage.  This is a tiny home at just 848 square feet. Yet, the old floorplan with some tweaks, packed in 2 bedrooms and 2 tiny bathrooms. Real American Hickory floors, rich gold fixtures, hand-printed wallpaper, bold Spanish tile choices, rich colors, and well detailed trim/5 panel doors (some painstakingly restored/salvaged), black kitchen cabinets, custom lights, and brick walls in the kitchen make this cottage absolutely vibrant.
