Making Modern Home just completed a full Scandinavian Farmhouse-inspired remodel of a large, basic '70s, two-story. As the project developer, we carefully made all choices to maximize its buyer appeal. Quality design improvements, non-structural floor plan tweaks, and thoughtful details bring this home to modern standards. The staging by Susannah Blanton completes the look! Some of the most important improvements are the standing seam metal roof, the new front porch gable, and columns, the white oak wide plank wood floors, the customized floating vanity in the master bathroom with full Carerra marble walls, the bold Spanish tile selections, custom metal stair railing, and even the purple front door set this home apart from others on the market. At first, we found it very difficult to re-imagine a basic 1970's 2-story, but we are thrilled with the results and know that the warm Modern Scandinavian Farmhouse direction was the perfect choice to complement a modern lifestyle.
