Rare 1930 East Austin Bungalow - SOLD

Making Modern Home completed this incredible remodel of this rare 1930 East Austin bungalow.  As the owner/developer/designer/Realtor, and working with Co-Sci Construction and Elite Austin staging, we couldn't be more pleased with this incredible transformation. The original dark woodwork trim was restored and cleverly added in new areas. We vaulted ceilings, added walnut floors, Spanish tile, new windows, and a good dose of shiplap was saved from the house.  We added a second bathroom and it's complete with amazing banana leaf wallpaper. This house was "tear down", but unlike other developers, Making Modern Home had to save this amazing property.
