Restored Hyde Park Bungalow

Completed 2014. This Hyde Park Bungalow was prime for a classic restoration, but it had to be on an extremely limited budget.  Bad updates and layers of paint obscured this home's best features.  Making Modern Home as project designer lovingly directed restoring the beauty and charm of this house while updating the floor plan and fixtures. The original door knobs were retained and stripped to become a main feature. Classic white hex tile was added to the bathroom. Warm oak butcher block countertops complement the modern cabinets as well as the vintage shaker cabinets. A classic color scheme emphasizes the historic character of this house and neighborhood. Americana porch details like the flag and fern complete this classic perfectly updated Hyde Park Bungalow re-imagined by Making Modern Home.
